Madhubani Wedding
The theme is a wedding and the artwork is Madhubani, with entirely Kantha work in it.The type of kantha work done in it is a simple kantha run stitch and satin stitch.The border around the main work is also done with simple kantha run stitch.The thread colours used are so vibrant and resemble the colours originally used for Madhubani painting.This exclusive piece of work is done on a good quality beige colour silk material.The most intricate and viewing part of this work are also shown closely with minute details. At some points the threads have been woven according the curvature.Some of those parts are like the creeper with flowers at the corner, the dhoti (the cloth worn by the groom) in white and blue colour has been woven the way it is draped on the body. A lot of effort and time has been given on these parts to bring out the exquisiteness . The frame has been carved out with wood.
